Privacy Policy
Last updated August 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes the information Amerigo Health, LLC ("we", “our”, or “us”) collects through glp1centers.com (the “Directory” or “Site”), how we use this information, with whom we share it, and the choices you have in connection with this. This Privacy Policy applies to the Directory and to any other electronic or digital products or services made available by us that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
Please note what this Policy does not cover. The Directory is an informational website. It is not a telehealth service and it does not provide medical care. Telehealth services advertised on the Directory — including TransformationHealth — operate on separate websites under their own privacy notices and their own terms, and they collect substantially more information than we do here, including health information, and involve health care practitioners and pharmacy partners. Read the privacy notice of any such service before starting a visit there. Amerigo Health, LLC does not provide clinical or medical services directly through this Directory.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Through your use of the Services, we may collect personal information, which is information that identifies you or relates to you as an identifiable individual. We collect personal information directly and automatically as outlined below.
Information Collected Directly From You
The Directory contains no forms. There is no registration, login, user account, intake form, quiz, or newsletter signup on this Site. We do not ask you for personal information in order to browse it.
We collect personal information directly only when you choose to contact us by email — for example, to report an inaccurate provider listing. In that case we collect your personal identifiers (your email address, your name if you provide it, and any other information you choose to include) and the contents of your correspondence. We use this information to respond to your questions or inquiries, to correct our records, and to address any issues you may have.
Please do not include personal health information in correspondence with us. We do not need it, and we do not want to hold it. If you send it anyway, we treat it as confidential, use it only to respond to you, and delete it on request.
Information Collected Automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical request data as you use the Services, including internet and other electronic network activity information: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring URL, browser type, device type, and broad geographic location (such as country- or city-level location derived from IP address). We use this information to serve the Site, diagnose and repair errors that impair functionality, and detect and mitigate abuse.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies.
Current status as of the date at the bottom of this page: the Directory sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tag management, or advertising technologies. It is a static website. The disclosures immediately below describe the technologies we use when they are enabled, and we will update this status line — and the date at the bottom of this page — at the time any of them goes live.
When enabled, we use the following categories of technology to understand which pages visitors view, how they arrived, and which content leads people to seek care:
- Analytics and tag management. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which set cookies and collect internet and network activity information including pages viewed, time on page, referring source, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and interaction events.
- Advertising and conversion measurement. Google Ads and its conversion pixel, and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which allow us to measure the performance of advertising campaigns and to show ads for our services to people who have visited the Directory.
These technologies are provided by third parties that receive information directly from your browser, including your IP address, and that may combine it with information they hold about you from other sources. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Site search. The city search on the Directory runs entirely within your browser against a data file downloaded with the page. What you type into it is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Outbound links. The Directory links to clinic websites, mapping services, the CMS NPI registry, and the telehealth service we advertise. Following a link is your choice; once you do, the destination’s privacy policy governs, not this one.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Personal identifiers | Email address, name, and anything else you include in an email to us | Directly from you |
| Internet or other electronic network activity information | IP address, pages viewed, referring URL, browser and device type, interaction events | Automatically, from your browser and our analytics providers |
| Approximate geolocation | Country-, state-, or city-level location derived from IP address | Automatically |
| Inferences | Interest in weight management or GLP-1 care, inferred from the pages you view | Derived from the above |
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, payment card information, precise geolocation, biometric information, or account credentials through the Directory. We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, medical records or clinical information here.
HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We make the personal information identified in this Privacy Policy available as set forth below. We also share non-personally identifiable, aggregated, and/or public information with third parties.
With service providers: We share your personal information with service providers that assist us in providing the Services, such as our hosting provider, cloud provider, email provider, analytics provider, and IT support. Service providers are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
Across our own properties, affiliates, and brands: Amerigo Health, LLC operates other websites, brands, and services, including TransformationHealth at https://transformationhealth.com, which is operated by Amerigo Health, LLC under a “doing business as” name. Information collected through the Directory — including the pages you visit here — may be used by Amerigo Health, LLC and its other properties and affiliates for our own business and marketing purposes, including to measure advertising, understand which content leads people to seek care, improve our services, and present you with information about services we offer. Where those properties are operated by the same legal entity, this use is internal to Amerigo Health, LLC and is not a transfer of your information to a third party.
With advertising and analytics partners: As described above, when advertising and analytics technologies are enabled, the providers of those technologies receive information from your browser. Depending on how those technologies are configured, this may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law and “targeted advertising” under other state laws. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information below.
In the event of a corporate reorganization: In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our organization, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, consolidation, transfer, change of control, or other disposition of all or any portion of our assets, we would share your personal information with third parties, including the buyer or target (and their agents and advisors) for the purpose of facilitating and completing the transaction. We would also share your personal information with third parties if we undergo bankruptcy or liquidation, in the course of such proceedings.
For legal purposes: We will share your personal information where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to tax obligations, court orders, law enforcement or legal process, including for national security purposes; to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights, as required to enforce our Terms of Use or other contracts; to defend against legal claims or demands; to detect, investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; or to comply with the requirements of any applicable law.
With your consent: Apart from the reasons identified above, we may request your permission to share your personal information for a specific purpose. We will notify you and request consent before the personal information is shared for such purpose. You may revoke your consent at any time.
Sale and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we have never done so.
Since the Directory launched, we have disclosed personal identifiers and internet and other network activity information to service providers that perform services on our behalf, including our hosting provider, cloud provider, email provider, and IT support, for business purposes including serving the Site, detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and identifying and repairing errors that impair functionality.
As of the date at the bottom of this page, we conduct no “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising from the Directory, because no advertising technologies are active on it. When the advertising technologies described above are enabled, our use of them may qualify as “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act and as “targeted advertising” under the privacy laws of other states. We will update this section at that time, and the opt-out described below will be made available.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy, and then delete it or de-identify it.
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Email correspondence | For as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and maintain a record of corrections to the Directory, and then no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law |
| Server logs | As retained by our hosting provider in the ordinary course, generally no more than 30 days |
| Analytics data | For the retention period configured with our analytics provider, not to exceed 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated |
Where we are required to retain information to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements, we retain it for that period and no longer.
HEALTH INFORMATION AND HIPAA
Amerigo Health, LLC is not acting as a HIPAA covered entity or business associate with respect to the Directory, and information you send us through this Site is not protected health information under HIPAA. The Directory is an informational website; it does not provide treatment, does not bill for care, and does not maintain medical records.
This is a meaningful distinction. Other services operated by Amerigo Health, LLC — including its telehealth service — do involve health care practitioners and pharmacy partners, and information you provide to those services is governed by their own notices and, where applicable, by HIPAA. Requests concerning health information held by a telehealth service, a provider, a laboratory, or a pharmacy must be directed to that entity. Federal HIPAA rules may control there, and not all health information may be removed or deleted.
Consumer health data. Some state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s SB 370, define “consumer health data” broadly enough to include information that could indicate a person is seeking health care services — which can include the pages you view on a directory like this one. Where those laws apply to you, we do not collect, use, or share consumer health data beyond what is described in this Policy, and we will obtain the consent those laws require before doing so.
STATE BASED PRIVACY LAWS
Many states — including California, Nevada, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others — have enacted laws which regulate the collection of their residents’ data and provide residents certain rights, including the rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and profiling, and the right to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.
How to submit a request. Email us at privacy@glp1centers.com, or write to us at the address in the CONTACT section below. Tell us what right you wish to exercise.
Verification. Because the Directory has no accounts, we generally verify a request by corresponding with you at the email address associated with the information you are asking about. If we cannot verify that a request is yours, we will tell you and explain why. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm.
Timing. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within that period and may extend by an additional 45 days.
Appeals. If we decline your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision at no cost by replying to our response or by writing to privacy@glp1centers.com with the word “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal in writing within 45 days, and if we deny the appeal we will provide you with a method to contact your state Attorney General to submit a complaint.
Because the Directory collects a narrow set of information, there is often very little for us to look up, export, correct, or delete about you. Where you have emailed us, we hold that correspondence and will honor verified requests concerning it.
YOUR INFORMATION CHOICES
All users of our Services have the following choices and rights:
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information. As of the date at the bottom of this page, we also conduct no sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. When the advertising technologies described in this Policy are enabled, we will provide a “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page through which you may opt out, and we will honor opt-out preference signals as described below.
Email correspondence: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of correspondence you have sent us by writing to the address in the CONTACT section below.
Cookies: You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. To learn more about managing cookies in your browser, visit aboutcookies.org. Note that each web browser is different, and that your choices apply per browser and per device.
Analytics: You may opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Online advertising: To opt out of targeted advertising from participating companies, visit the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can also adjust your ad preferences directly with Google and Meta.
OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS AND DO NOT TRACK
We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC). As of the date at the bottom of this page, the Directory conducts no sale or sharing of personal information and runs no tracking technologies, so there is nothing for such a signal to opt you out of. When advertising technologies are enabled, a GPC signal received from your browser will be treated as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser and device.
There is no common industry standard for responding to legacy “Do Not Track” browser headers, and we do not respond to them. GPC is the signal we honor.
INFORMATION SECURITY
We implement and maintain reasonable security measures, such as access controls and encryption in transit, to protect the personal information we collect and maintain. However, no security measure or modality of data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the information we have collected from you.
AGE RESTRICTION
The Services are intended for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. The Directory is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, or from anyone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address in the CONTACT section below.
WHERE WE OPERATE
The Directory is operated from the United States and is intended for residents of the United States. We do not offer the rights afforded by the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, the UK GDPR, or other non-U.S. privacy frameworks through this Policy. If you access the Directory from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and information about your visit will be processed in the United States.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the changes to this page and will indicate the date the changes go into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If we make changes that materially affect your privacy rights — in particular the activation of any analytics or advertising technology described above — we will update this Policy before those technologies go live, notify you with a prominent post on our Services, and obtain your consent if required.
